Tee hee! Arlen Specter has been warmly welcomed by his new, self-described, ideological compatriots - they've stripped him of all his senority, so now he's the most junior Democratic senator.
Great job Senator Specter! Congratulations on your traitors' welcome. I'm sure you thought that the Leftist thugs you've chosen to align with would be in your debt and would want to reward you. However, you've just learned that what Harry Reid, et al.'s sole care is their own personal power.
On the down side, this makes it much less likely that Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe won't make the same selfish jump across the aisle. RINOs beware: the Left still hates you, and we conservatives are going to challenge you with ideals, not try to seduce you with political expediency.
Since Specter is now the most junior, does he come behind Bob Casey in the order of precedence now? Does he have to stand when Casey enters the room? Wouldn't that be sweet justice...
